What was it like to live or work inside Oak Ridge? This exhibit highlights some of the day-to-day routine and activities of the division over time including visitations, spiritual services, schooling, food and dining practices, work gangs, and recreation. Likewise highlighted in this exhibit are the arrival and departure procedures for Oak Ridge patients as well as a discussion of some of the security concerns and crises that defined Oak Ridge's history.

Visitors should note that treatment - especially the occupational, vocational, and recreation therapies - overlapped significantly with this category and can be found under the Treatment exhibit.
